Refunds and cancellation
How money returns if a place does not hold. This page is about programmes invoiced by Compute Nodepoint, not about the informational figures on the enrolment page.
Eligibility
A refund is available when you cancel in writing before the programme starts, when the house postpones a table and you decline the new date, or when we are unable to deliver the teaching described in your acceptance letter. Consumer cooling-off rights under United Kingdom law apply to distance contracts as set out below.
Timeframe
Write to info@compute-nodepoint.digital. For a Cohort Table or Conservatory booked at a distance, you may cancel within fourteen days of the acceptance letter unless teaching has already begun with your agreement. After that window, the schedule in the next section applies.
Full or partial refund
Cancel fourteen or more days before the first session: full tuition, minus any non-refundable items listed below. Cancel between thirteen days and the morning of the first session: seventy percent. After the first session: no tuition refund, unless we have failed to deliver. Reading Desk notes, once the files have been sent, are treated as supplied digital content; we do not refund those files after access is granted, except where the law requires it or the files were defective.
Non-refundable items
Booked rooms in Knowle, couriered printed ledgers already dispatched, and guest-salon meals reserved in your name. Vendor licences you buy yourself are never on our invoice.
Process
Send the email with your name, programme, and whether you want credit on a later table instead of money. We confirm within five working days. Approved refunds travel by the same method as the original payment where we can; otherwise by bank transfer to the account that paid.
Processing time
Once approved, expect the funds to leave us within ten working days. Your bank may take a little longer to show them.
Cancellation by the house
If we cancel and cannot offer a table within three months that you accept, tuition returns in full, including items that would otherwise be non-refundable.
Exceptions
We may refuse a goodwill refund where materials were copied in breach of the licence, or where a Conservatory desk was reserved by blocking other teams and cancellation arrives inside forty-eight hours of the first studio. Statutory rights are not affected.
